Description

Pretty straightforward; here we've got Bianca and Cheren, the two rivals(not counting N) from the original Gen V titles. In Black and White 2, as I'm sure you're all aware, Bianca is now Professor Juniper's(and don't worry, she's coming up too, soon enough) research assistant, whereas Cheren is the new gym leader in Aspertia City, taking Lenora's place as the Normal-type-wielding holder of the Basic Badge. I kind of question the logic of making the Normal-type gym the first one you face(you already know my feelings on battling Whitney, and Norman wasn't a pushover either), due to their lack of weaknesses. Good think you can find wild Riolu wandering around at the beginning of the game ~~too bad the only decent Fighting-type move it'll learn is Force Palm at level 15~~.

Anyhoo, I, like many others, interpreted their relation ship in the games as not being strictly platonic, given how they act in Black and White ~~and Bianca is clearly wearing Cheren's glasses in BW2~~, so BABBY TIEMZ!!!1

The idea is that they were out shopping for baby stuff, with Cheren lagging behind due to the sheer weight of the stuff he's lugging around. Bianca is taking this opportunity to playfully mock her boyfriend/husband/whatever for being unable to keep up, delighting in being able to get payback for all the times Cheren scolded her for running late and holding everyone up. Cheren, however, is less than fazed by this, and is more perplexed by how Bianca has so much energy, despite being as huge as she is.

I did want to draw background for this one, my own take on Shopping Mall 9, but I suck so hard it's not even funny. Rest assured, I will try to step up my background game in further entries. Also, I deliberately chose their BW2 looks because I've seen belly art of Bianca in her original outfit, but none in this one, and considering how adorable her current appearance is, that was an injustice that could not go unchecked.

Bianca: Pick up the pace, Cheren; we're almost there.

Cheren: I'm going as fast as I can, Bianca!!!

(Bianca's phone rings; caller ID reads JUNIPER, AUREA)

Bianca: Please let that be Professor Juniper.

(hits SEND)

Bianca: Professor Juniper?

?: No; this is Fennel.

Bianca: Where's Professor Juniper?

Fennel: She was crushed by a Snorlax.

Bianca: How did that happen?

Fennel: Around 30 minutes ago, she was talking care of the Pokémon that were out in the research area when a Snorlax rolled over her (save for her head).

Bianca: Anything else?

Fennel: She wanted to ask you if you could take her place as Unova's Pokémon Professor.

Bianca: I'm sure you can do it and find a new research assistant to replace me.

Fennel: Why?

Bianca: I want to be with my friend Cheren.

Fennel: I understand; goodbye, Bianca.

Bianca: Goodbye, Professor Fennel.

(hits END; Bianca deletes JUNIPER, AUREA from her phone's call list)

Cheren: Are we near-

Bianca: I hate to cut you off in mid-sentence, honey, but there's a sign on the door of your Gym.

Cheren: What does it say?

Bianca: The Unova Pokémon League stripped it of its ownership license; it also says that the number of Badges required for a Trainer to participate in the Tournament is now seven.

(Bianca turns around to find Cheren is down an uncharted path on the map)

Cheren: Bianca! This way! This path leads to my house!

Bianca: YOUR house?

Cheren: What I meant to say was that this path leads to OUR house.

(that night)

Bianca: Cheren, wake up.

Cheren: Why?

Bianca: My water broke; they're coming!

Cheren: TWINS???

Bianca: Both boys; get my bag and get me to the hospital!!!

(later that night)

Bianca: Elias and Skylar; I think their aunties Elesa and Skyla will be so happy to see them for the first time.

(5 years later)

Bianca: We're getting married today, honey; I want the boys to be with their aunties Elesa and Skyla.

(5 years after the wedding)

Bianca: Now that you boys are ten, why don't you go see Professor Fennel in Nuvema Town and choose a Starter Pokémon to begin your journey of becoming a Pokémon Master.

Cheren: You may even challenge Auntie Elesa or Auntie Skyla to a Pokémon Gym Battle.
